About taking Classes

Time to create that is free from distractions is essential.  The process of creating builds conf-idence and camaraderie. 


Students will learn the vocabulary of art or jewelry and each student’s instruction will be geared toward his/her own skill level and interests.


Students will have the oppor-tunity to finish works to com-pletion over a series of weeks and participate in an open to the public art show. 


Students can begin their learn-ing process with provided materials but will grow to require their own materials. 

Wear painting clothes or bring an apron!


ABOUT SILVERSMYTH For nearly 10 years Julie Silversmyth has been creating custom sterling silver jewelry. Julie has taught Drawing, Painting and Jewelry making for Aledo ISD Imagination Celebration Program and Soldering at a Fort Worth bead supplier.

Silversmyth Minored in Fine Art at Saint Francis College with additional coursework at UNM school of Art, studied independently with Gail Harper, Lou Maestas of Art Master’s Academy and with Janis Bryant at Janis Bryant Art Center of Fort Worth.
